activities The Permanent Commission for the South Pacific (CPPS) is the appropriate Regional Maritime Organization responsible for the coordination of the maritime policies of its Member States: COLOMBIA, CHILE, ECUADOR and PERU. The Organization was established on 18 August 1952, as a result of "Declaration on the Maritime Zone" subscribed at Santiago by the Governments of Chile, Ecuador and Peru.
